Whole 30 Beef and Broccoli

Whole 30 Beef and Broccoli

This one is for all the Whole 30 -ers out there who are running out of recipe or meal prep ideas.  Sharing is caring, right?

I have been using this Beef and Broccoli recipe from the Real Food with Jessica blog for a few years now, even when I am not on Whole 30.  It’s great for a weeknight meal, because it’s easy, quick and delicious – a winning combination.

Here’s what you need…

Ignore the cornstartch! I took this picture during a non-Whole 30 day.

Sesame Oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Flank steak

Fresh Broccoli

Powdered ginger

Garlic powder

Red pepper flakes, optional

Tapioca (or corn starch if not Whole 30) starch, if you want to use it as a thickener.

The red pepper flakes are for a little heat.  If you’d prefer, you can leave out this spice, but I prefer the kick.

Also, I’ve made this dish with and without a thickener, and it turns out great either way!

Serve over cauliflower rice (or regular rice if not Whole 30).

Good luck to everyone crazy enough to try the Whole 30!
